Lockdown Guidance from 8th March 2021

Following the Government’s announcement on 22nd February 2021, we have reviewed our services to ensure that we can continue to provide safe and comfortable homes without putting the health and safety of our tenants and their support staff at risk.

As such, effective from 8th March, our services will consist of the following:

Repairs

Routine repairs to be reintroduced – repairs will return to our ‘pre-pandemic’ service (unless a household has a case of covid-19 or are following guidance to isolate). Tenants and support staff can report repairs in the normal way.

For those who are clinically vulnerable and who have been advised to shield until at least 29th March, a full repairs service is offered, but it is up to you as a household/individual to determine if you want to report non-urgent repairs.

Emergency repairs and compliance works must go ahead at all properties.

Repairs to White Goods – full service provided to those tenants who receive this service.

Grounds Maintenance – our gardeners will be carrying out maintenance visits to properties as normal.

Housing management inspections/visits

All inspections can resume as normal. Our intention is to visit our properties at least once a quarter, and more regularly where required. Visits will be arranged via your housing officer but will not yet be enforced if a tenant/household would prefer to delay further due to the pandemic.

Tenancy sign-ups

Tenancy sign-ups resume as normal. We will continue to offer video sign-ups if preferred.

As always, our staff and contractors will adhere to guidance regarding working in people’s homes.  – https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/homes.
