Back in January we shared some photos of a new house in Stockport purchased by Care to provide housing to three siblings.
A lot of hard work has gone into making adjustments to the house to ensure it meets the needs of the people who will call it home. The ground floor has been made level access for wheelchair use, the garage converted into a bedroom with en suite wet room, and the kitchen has been replaced, including a low-level worktop area to enable the wheelchair user to join in when baking.
Earlier in April the work was completed, and the three people came for a look around their new home. They were very excited to see the end result as they had helped make choices about how it would look including colours of carpets, wallpaper, kitchen design and garden layout.
They have now moved in and are looking forward to enjoying summer in their sunny garden.
Here are some photos of them excited to see their new home.
